7- Enter the code in the Instagram application
8- Reset your password and you will then be able to log in to your old account
But if you’re not yet using the same phone number that you were using when you first opened your Instagram, you don’t have to worry. You can delete your old account, even if you don’t remember the password, using your email address.
Here are the instructions for doing so:
1- Open the Instagram mobile app in your phone.
2- Select “Forgotten password”.
3- Enter your email address and click Search.
4-Tap on Send an email, so you can renew your password.
5- Click on the link that was sent to the email inbox and then create a new password for your Instagram.
What should you do if you don’t have your phone number or old email active? There is a solution for this too, but for this method you need to have an open Facebook account.
1- Open the Instagram mobile app in your phone.
2- Select “Forgotten password
3- Select Username or Email and fill in the required information.
4- Tap Search and tap Renewal via Facebook.
5- Log in to your Facebook account.
6- Instagram will then display the account that is most recently connected to your Facebook and will give you the option to create a new password for your old Instagram account.
After renewing your password for Instagram, you will be able to log in to your account and delete your Instagram account without having the old password.
